Prison sentence handed down to Menominee woman for meth-related charges

MENOMINEE, MI— A Menominee woman will spend a minimum of 18 months in prison on drug charges.

County Prosecutor Jeffrey Rogg says Patricia Williams, 61, was sentenced Monday to 18 months to 10 years in prison for two counts of possession of meth.

She was arrested in 2021 after selling suboxone and meth to detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.

Williams also had felony drug convictions in 2013 and 2018. Rogg says she was placed on community supervision several times but violated her terms of probation.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
