MENOMINEE, MI— A 20-year-old Menominee resident has been sentenced to 14 months to 5 years in prison for probation violations.

Ryan violated his probation in March of last year. His youthful offender status was revoked, but he remained on probation.

In July of last year, Ryan absconded from probation until he was arrested in Marinette on new criminal charges.

The judge on Friday allowed Ryan to participate in the Michigan Department of Corrections’ Special Alternative to Incarceration Boot Camp program while in prison.
