Meth trafficker sentenced in Menominee to up to 20 years in prison

MENOMINEE, MI— A Wilson man will spend up to 20 years in prison for delivery of meth.

In April of last year, UPSET used a confidential informant to buy the drug from Edward Lee “Uncle Pork” Britton, 63. During the transaction, Britton offered to sell a larger quantity of meth at a discounted price. The informant made two additional purchases.

In June of 2023, a search warrant was executed at Britton’s residence. Meth, money, and guns were seized.

Britton agreed to testify against others involved in his drug trafficking operations. He was sentenced to 3 to 20 years in prison Wednesday in Menominee County Circuit Court.
