GREEN BAY, WI (AP)— An Upper Peninsula man already serving a life sentence for murder in Alabama has also been ordered to spend life in prison for the killing of a Green Bay man.
WLUK-TV says Caleb Anderson, 25, of Caspian received his second life sentence Monday in a Green Bay courtroom. He pleaded no contest last month to 1st-degree intentional homicide in the stabbing death of 65-year-old Patrick Ernst.
In 2022, Anderson assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Gaastra while she jogged. He then drove to Wisconsin and killed Ernst in his apartment. Police say Anderson then stole Ernst’s car, drove to Alabama, and killed Dwight Dixon.
Anderson was accused of taking selfie videos and photos with Ernst’s body, writing a Bible verse on the wall, and leaving a handwritten apology.
