Marquette man pleads in child pornography case

MARQUETTE, MI— A Marquette man arrested after Michigan State Police discovered he was viewing child pornography online has entered into a plea deal.

Aidan Keller, 19, was charged in May with three counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, seven counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, and ten counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

He pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. The other charges were dismissed.

Sentencing is set for January 30 in 25th Circuit Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
