Germfask man charged with stealing Marquette vehicle

ST. IGNACE, MI— A preliminary exam is scheduled in Mackinac County District Court for an 18-year-old man accused of stealing a vehicle from Marquette.

Tristan Rahn of Germfask allegedly took the vehicle Friday from a driveway on Presque Isle Avenue. The car was tracked east and stopped near Brevort. Rahn was arrested and lodged in the Mackinac County Jail.

Rahn was arraigned on charges of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle and receiving and concealing stolen property.

A probable cause conference is set for February 24 and a preliminary hearing for March 3.

The Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office is also reviewing charges from the incident.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
