KINGSFORD, MI— A Kingsford man has been officially charged following a “high-risk” arrest this week.
The Kingsford Public Safety Department and Critical Incident Response Team took Jason Porath, 47, into custody on Monday. It was the culmination of an investigation into narcotics and firearms in the area.
Porath is charged with two counts of delivery/manufacture of meth, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and maintaining a drug house.
A preliminary hearing is set for April 29 in Dickinson County District Court.
