Wisconsin man sentenced in Bessemer on meth and cocaine charges

BESSEMER, MI— A Two Rivers, Wisconsin man was sentenced to prison on drug charges in Gogebic County last week.

Shane Reinfelder, 40, was arrested in May by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team. He pled guilty in September to possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of cocaine. He was also charged with being a habitual offender.

As part of the plea deal, two counts of delivery/manufacture of meth, one count of delivery/manufacture of cocaine, and one count of resisting/obstructing an officer were dropped.

Reinfelder was sentenced to 10 to 30 years on the delivery charge and 2 to 6 years on the possession charge. The sentences will run concurrently.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
