Menominee meth trafficker to spend up to 30 years in prison

KERA News

MENOMINEE, MI— A Menominee man has been sentenced to 7 to 30 years in prison for delivery of meth.

Mark Pelon, 42, was accused of selling meth in September 2024 to a confidential informant used by the North East Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group. The CI said Pelon had a pistol and body armor was lying nearby.

The following month, the informant conducted another controlled buy from Pelon. The CI said Pelon “weighed up” and put the meth into two “eight ball” packages.

He was sentenced Friday in 41st Circuit Court.
