Man who absconded during medical appointment sentenced for stalking in Houghton County

Keith Harri

HOUGHTON, MI— A Houghton County man incarcerated for stalking has been sentenced, after he failed to return to jail following a medical appointment.

Keith Allen Harri, 38, pleaded guilty in March to aggravated stalking and domestic violence—3rd offense.

He was released from jail on April 10 for a medical appointment, but failed to return to the facility. Deputies from the Houghton County Sheriff's Office found Harri seven days later and took him back to jail.

He was sentenced Monday to 38 months to 5 years in prison with credit for 80 days already served.
