CHIPPEWA COUNTY, MI— Michigan State Police have released the name of a man arrested for attacking a patrol car with a hammer in Chippewa County Monday.
Karsten Myerscough, 32, is accused of damaging the vehicle while he and the trooper driving it were on the Sugar Island ferry.
On Tuesday, Myerscough was arraigned on charges of malicious destruction of police property and resisting and obstructing a police officer, causing injury. He remains lodged in the Chippewa County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
His next court date is September 21.
