MENOMINEE, MI— A Menominee County man will spend up to four years in prison for felonious assault and felony firearms convictions.
Travis Motto, 38, of Wilson was accused of domestic assault in March of last year. The victim said Motto pointed a shotgun at her and threatened to harm her with a knife.
He was apparently “highly intoxicated” during the incident. Deputies found Motto passed out in a bedroom next to a loaded shotgun with a shell in the firing chamber and an additional shell in the shotgun tube.
He was sentenced September 4 to two years in prison for felony firearms and a consecutive prison term of 6 months to 4 years for felonious assault.
