B&E at Chocolay Township veterinary clinic

HARVEY, MI--   A suspect has been arrested in connection with a breaking-and-entering at Bayshore Veterinary Hospital in Harvey.

Chocolay Township Police say the man called Central Dispatch early Sunday and said he may have been involved in the incident.  When officers arrived at the building they found it had been broken into and heavily vandalized.

The intoxicated suspect sought treatment at Marquette General Hospital for injuries sustained in the break-in.  Police arrested him at the scene and lodged him in the Marquette County Jail, pending authorization of charges.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
