Numerous larceny charges for Manistique duo

MANISTIQUE, MI--   A couple of Manistique residents have been arrested for breaking into several homes in Schoolcraft County. 

The Manistique Department of Public Safety says Michael Olsen, 24, is charged with 1st-degree home invasion, four counts of 2nd-degree home invasion, attempted 2nd-degree home invasion, breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit 2nd-degree home invasion, possession of burglary tools, illegal possession of a financial transaction device, and three counts of larceny between $1,000 and $20,000.

Samantha Jo Jenerou, 22, faces the same charges, along with one count of stealing a financial transaction device.

Olsen and Jenerou allegedly broke into three homes in Manistique and three others in Schoolcraft county.  Both remain lodged in the Schoolcraft County Jail, each on a $25,000 bond.  

A preliminary exam is set for July 18. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
