Murdock not guilty on one charge, guilty on four others

MUNISING, MI-- An Alger County man charged with running over his girlfriend with a pickup truck last year has been found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

However, Thomas Murdock, 48, was found guilty Friday of operating while intoxicated causing death, operating while intoxicated-3^rdoffense, driving on a suspended license, and possession of marijuana.

Murdock was accused of backing over 44-year-old Lisa Ann Hardwick at a camp in AuTrain Township in June of 2011. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

A sentencing date has not yet been set.
