B&E, arrest at Sawyer residence

SAWYER, MI--   One person has been arrested in connection with a breaking-and-entering at Sawyer. 

Forsyth Township Police were called to the residence Monday morning around 3:30 and located a possible suspect.  The suspect was found to be in possession of oxycodone and around two pounds of marijuana, and was lodged in the Marquette County Jail. 

Charges are being sought through the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.  No names are being released at this time, and the case remains under investigation. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
