Police looking for suspect in Negaunee B&E's

NEGAUNEE, MI--   Negaunee Police are asking for the public’s help in solving several breaking-and-entering cases in the area. 

One incident happened between 2:30 and 3:00 Tuesday morning at the VFW Post on Gold Street.  Officers say a sum of money was taken and a vending machine destroyed. 

Police were also notified that Paul’s Barber Shop on Teal Lake Avenue and The Sub Station on West Main Street were also broken into.  There are no reports that anything was taken. 

The suspect in the crimes is believed to be a thin white male who was wearing a white or light-colored hooded sweatshirt with sleeves hanging past his hands.  He was also wearing a light-colored baseball cap. 

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact Negaunee Police at 475-4154.
