KIND Drug Team arrests three in Dickinson County

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   Three people have been arrested in Dickinson County on drug charges. 

An ongoing investigation by the KIND Drug Team has resulted in the arrest of 30-year-old Amy Bergman on two counts of delivery of less than 50 grams of heroin on school or library property, two counts of delivery of less than 50 grams of cocaine on school or library property, and one count of controlled substance—second offense. 

Forty-year-old Alonzo Wilson was arrested for delivery of heroin, delivery of heroin on school or library property, delivery of cocaine, and for being an habitual offender—fourth offense. 

And 29-year-old Meagan Doty has been charged with delivery of cocaine, three counts of delivery of heroin, and three counts of maintaining a drug house. 

A preliminary hearing is set for September 25thfor Bergman.  Wilson and Doty will attend their preliminary exams September 26thin Dickinson County District Court. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
