MARQUETTE, MI-- The man who pleaded guilty to robbing a Chocolay Township bank last year has been sentenced in federal court.
Thirty-year-old Justin McLean walked into Northern Michigan Bank and Trust with a gun last October and left with an unspecified amount of money. He then left the scene with his wife and child in the vehicle. McLean was later extradited from Wyoming and this past May pleaded guilty to a charge of bank robbery by force or violence.
He was sentenced Thursday to eight years, nine months in prison.
