Woman escapes from Ontonagon County Jail

ONTONAGON, MI--   An inmate has escaped from the Ontonagon County Jail.

Officials say Elisha Greisher walked away Thursday night.  She was jailed on two warrants for failure to appear. 

Greisher is described as a 5’0”, 110 lb. white female with blond hair and blue eyes. 

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department at 884-4901. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
