Shooting suspect to face more charges

WIXOM, MI (AP)--

Authorities say a man arrested in a four-county shooting spree in Michigan will face additional charges Friday.

Raulie Casteel was arraigned Wednesday on six gun counts in Livingston County. The prosecutor there predicted charges would come soon in some other of the two-dozen shootings last month that involved moving cars in communities near Interstate 96.

In an email to reporters, Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe in Pontiac says he doesn't expect charges in his county until Friday.

Casteel was arrested Monday in Wixom.
Doug Mullkoff represents Casteel and said during Wednesday's hearing that his client is a college graduate who's been married for 11 years and has no criminal history.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
