Houghton County couple sought for writing bad checks

CALUMET, MI--   State Police from the Calumet Post continue to search for two area people suspected of passing bad checks.

The Houghton Daily Mining Gazette says Christina

Raymond Ojala

Gagnon, 32, of Calumet is wanted on several counts of uttering and publishing and forgery.  She was last seen with Raymond Ojala, 30, of Hubbell on Thanksgiving, when police were called to a residence about a family disturbance.   The two apparently fled the scene with Gagnon’s 11-year-old son and haven’t been seen since.

Police say Gagnon and Ojala are driving a green, 2002 Pontiac Grand-Am with Michigan registration CCD8098.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call State Police at the Calumet Post.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
