Subway robbery suspect arrested in Wisconsin

ASHWAUBENON, WI--  

A man suspected of robbing two Subway restaurants in Escanaba has been arrested in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. 

The 50-year-old Green Bay man was arrested on a probation violation Tuesday.  Based on information supplied by Escanaba Public Safety, Wisconsin police searched the man’s car and found evidence linking him to the Michigan robberies that happened between December 11 and 12.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken from safes. 

The man is now suspected of being involved in robberies from Subways in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  He remains jailed in Wisconsin.
