MUNISING, MI-- An Alger County Sheriff’s deputy is under investigation for allegedly assaulting a Munising chiropractor jailed on sexual assault charges.
George Young, 54, is charged with six counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He allegedly felt the breasts of the victims during chiropractic adjustments.
Now police are investigating a possible assault by a deputy against Young, who was not injured in the incident. Officials say police internal affairs are handling the case, and will likely use the services of a special prosecutor.
A pretrial hearing for Young is set for February 20 in Alger County Circuit Court.
