Arrest made in Caspian gas station burglary

CRYSTAL FALLS, MI--   An Iron River man has been arrested for breaking into a Caspian gas station in March.  

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office says Kyle Remer, 23, is charged with breaking and entering and larceny in a building.

Deputies were called to the Northland Marathon Station in Caspian March 25 and found the main door broken.  Cigarettes and alcohol had been taken from the store.

Remer was arraigned Monday in 95B District Court.  He faces up to 14 years in prison, if convicted as charged. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
