IRON RIVER, MI-- Police discovered stolen property during a routine traffic stop in Iron River Tuesday.
A trooper from the Iron Mountain Post stopped a vehicle for a seat belt violation. He noted items in the vehicle matched the description of property stolen from the Iron County Cemetery in May. A search of the vehicle uncovered stolen property from a number of break-ins.
The male driver was arrested and lodged in the Iron County Jail. His name is being withheld, pending arraignment.
