Gwinn man charged in shooting of dog

Forsyth Township, MI - A Gwinn man has been arrested in the shooting of a dog in Forsyth Township.

Township police were dispatched to the 100-block of Johnson Lake Road Saturday at about 7pm on a report of a dog being shot several times.

Following their investigation, police Tuesday arrested 65-year old Michael Baumann on charges of reckless use of a firearm and the killing/torturing of an animal. Baumann posted bond on both charges.
