IRONWOOD, MI--   Two people have been charged in connection with a stabbing incident Tuesday morning in Ironwood.

The woman was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and attempted assault on a police officer.

The man was taken to Aspirus Grand View Hospital, treated and released.  He was later arrested for being a minor in possession.

Police say pills were involved as well as the alcohol, which likely contributed to the stabbing.

Both subjects remain lodged in the Gogebic County Jail.  Additional charges could be filed.
