Police: Body found may be missing West Texas baby

ElPasoTimes.com

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — El Paso police say that the body of an infant found in southern New Mexico might be that of an El Paso baby missing since Friday.
Police spokesman Mike Baranyay says the remains are suspected of being those of 5-month-old Jackson Farrey, but they are expecting the New Mexico medical examiner to identify it and determine the cause of death.
Authorities Sunday found 22-year-old Jeffrey Farrey, his 20-year-old wife Jenna Farrey and their 17-month-old son, Blake Farrey in a motel in Escanaba, Mich. Jackson Farrey wasn't with them.
Jeffrey Farrey, an Army specialist, was taken from Michigan to El Paso by Fort Bliss authorities. He is charged with injury to a child by omission and held on a $1.5 million bond.
