MARQUETTE, MI-- A Negaunee man has been arrested on sexual assault charges.
State Police from the Negaunee Post say William Arbelius, 62, was arrested Friday and arraigned on three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges stem from several incidents that allegedly happened in Ishpeming Township this year. The victim is an adult female.
A preliminary hearing is set for March 18. He remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond for each count, or $30,000.
Arbelius faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted as charged.
