Deputies make meth arrests in Mass City

ONTONAGON, MI--   Two Ontonagon residents have been arrested on meth charges.  

The county sheriff’s office says a 33-year-old man and 54-year-old woman were taken into custody Monday around 9 p.m.  They’re charged with possession of methamphetamine and manufacture/ delivery of meth.  The man is also charged with felon in possession of firearms.

Deputies say the arrests came after they received a child endangerment complaint and conducted a search warrant on a building in Mass City.

The two remain lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail, pending arraignment. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
