Traffic stop nets Marquette home invasion suspects

MARQUETTE, MI--   Three men and one woman have been arrested in connection with a July break-in at a Marquette residence.

City police report that on July 19 the suspects—with pantyhose over their heads—broke into a house on Harrison Street.  They allegedly pointed the gun at the resident, who as tied up and assaulted.  Officers say a large amount of medical marijuana, guitars, and a gun were taken from the house.

A few hours later Menominee Police tried to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, but ended up in a short pursuit.  The suspects were placed under arrest and the stolen items were recovered.

Arrested were Richard Arrington, 18, of Green Bay; Devin Landrum, 20, of Green Bay; Amanda Beyer, 18, of Red Granite, Wisconsin; and Steven Helwig, 29, of River Grove, Illinois.  They’re each charged with home invasion.

A juvenile suspect was petitioned into Marquette County Probate Court.
