TRAVERSE CITY, MI (AP)-- Authorities say they are investigating the death of a 64-year-old employee whose body was found at Grand Traverse Mall in the northwestern Lower Peninsula.
Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Lt. Brian Giddis tells the Traverse City Record-Eagle that the department sent deputies to the mall around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday following the death. It's considered suspicious.
Authorities identify the dead man as Ricky A. Billings, a night housekeeper at the mall. Much of the mall was closed Tuesday.
