Man stabs another during fight in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Marquette man has been arrested for stabbing another man over the weekend. 

City Police were called Sunday around 3:25 a.m. to Division and Mesnard streets.  Investigation revealed the stabbing happened during an altercation between the two men.  Both were taken to Upper Peninsula Health System Marquette for non-life-threatening injuries. 

One subject was later arrested and lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

No names have been released, pending arraignment. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
