Robbery in Menominee County not random, police say

MENOMINEE TOWNSHIP, MI--   Police are investigating a home robbery in Menominee County.

Troopers from the Gladstone post say three men entered a Menominee Township residence Sunday and bound the homeowner and three other people.  The suspects took several items, including a handgun, then left the house.

The homeowner was hit in the face, but no other injuries are reported.

Police do not believe the robbery is a random crime.

Troopers were assisted by the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department, Menominee City Police, and the Marinette/Menominee Drug Task Force.
