MARQUETTE, MI-- Marquette Police are trying to find out who cut down several city-owned trees.
Officers say on or around January 23 someone cut down a large number of trees on the 900 block of South Lake Street between the bike path and Lake Superior.
The culprit faces a charge of malicious destruction of property.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Marquette Police at 228-0400.
