Pole struck by hit-and-run driver near Negaunee

NEGAUNEE, MI-- Negaunee Police are searching for a driver who hit a utility pole on County Road Monday morning.

Officers say around 8 a.m. a dark-colored pickup truck was eastbound when it went off the right side of the road, hit the pole, and left the scene.

The truck left behind plastic parts from the right front wheel well flare and should have damage to the right front quarter panel.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the driver is asked to call 475-4154.
