Troopers make bath salt arrest in Wakefield

WAKEFIELD, MI--   Two Gogebic County residents have been arrested in connection with the discovery of bath salts. 

Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post executed a search warrant Friday at a house in the city.  The search uncovered a large quantity of bath salts. 

A male and a female subject were arrested for conspiracy to distribute bath salts and lodged in the Gogebic County Jail.

UPSET, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, DHS, and Calumet Post K9 Unit assisted in the investigation.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
