Stolen lumber found in Forsyth Township

FORSYTH TOWNSHIP--   Forsyth Township Police have discovered dumped lumber they believe was stolen from an area business earlier this month.

On Saturday officers responded to the 800 block of Marshall Drive and talked to a man who said he’d located a large pile of 2x6’s in the woods by Martin Lake Road.  Police say it was taken from Adler Lumber May 3, but believe it was dumped by the suspects after officials alerted citizens to the theft.

Investigation reveals a suspicious black Chevy Suburban pulling a trailer was seen in the area of the dumped lumber.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Forsyth Township Police at 346-9224.
