GARDEN, MI-- The director of a Delta County retreat has been put on leave because of suspected financial improprieties.
The Diocese of Marquette says Father Brian Gerber is on administrative leave from the Marygrove Retreat Center in Garden. Father Timothy Ferguson, who serves as associate pastor at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette, has been named interim director of Marygrove.
The Diocese say Michigan State Police have been notified of the matter.
