Ralph bar fight results in injuries, arrest

RALPH, MI--   One person has been arrested, following a fight at a Dickinson County bar that injured two other people.  

Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were called Wednesday around 5 p.m. to the Hunter’s Tavern in Ralph on a report of an assault and death threats.  Upon arrival officers determined several subjects were involved. 

A 46-year-old Iron Mountain man was arrested and lodged in the Dickinson County Jail for assault and battery.  Two victims were taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and treated for injuries sustained in the fight. 

Names are being withheld, pending review of the case by the Prosecutor’s Office.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
