More victims could be uncovered in Caron sex abuse case

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says there may be more victims in a Forsyth Township child sex abuse case.  

Andrew Caron, 43, of Gwinn was arraigned this week on ten counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and 29 counts of child sexually abusive activity.  Electronic equipment from his house was confiscated and turned over to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Traverse City for further investigation.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims in this case.  Anyone with information or concerns is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 225-8441 or 225-8434.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
