WAKEFIELD, MI--   A Watersmeet Township man has been arrested for reckless driving and pointing a gun at another driver.

On December 2 around 1 p.m. an Ontonagon County resident called State Police at the Wakefield Post and said another motorist was driving recklessly and had pointed a gun at the caller.  The victim provided a partial description of the suspect’s vehicle and a partial license plate number.

Investigation led troopers to 62-year-old Donald Klingman, who was arrested Tuesday for felonious assault and possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony.  He remains lodged in the Ontonagon County Correctional Facility on a $50,000 bond.

Lac Vieux Desert Tribal Police and troopers from the Ewen Detachment assisted in the investigation.
