Escanaba police arrest suspects for stealing cars

ESCANABA, MI--   Three people are facing charges after two vehicles were stolen in Escanaba.

Public Safety officials say the vehicles were taken Thursday morning from a business on the 2200 block of 6th Avenue North.  Both were later recovered—one in Escanaba and the other in the Bark River area.

Police located and arrested a suspect, who was driving one of the vehicles.  Further investigation led officers to seek charges on two additional suspects.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police assisted in the case.
