Watersmeet Township, MI - Two suspects are under arrest on drug charges in Gogebic County. The ‘Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team’ executed a search warrant yesterday at a residence on Blair Street in Watersmeet Township. Fiftry-two year old Shirley Lynn Kashich and 56-year old Steven Vito Comes are charged with 'possesion with intent to deliver marijuana'… 'possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony'… and 'maintatining a drug house.' They were arraigned in 98th District Court and are being held on $100,000 bond.
The arrests stem from an investigation by GIANT team members that’s been going on since the spring of 2014. During the execution of the search warrant, GIANT seized controlled substances, cash, and multiple firearms.
The Lac Vieu Desert Tribal Police assistend in the investigation.
