Meth bust in Chippewa County

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   Three Chippewa County residents have been arrested on meth-related charges.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force, or Tri-D.EN.T, recently conducted surveillance on a Sault Ste. Marie residence and stopped a vehicle leaving the house.  Police found an active meth lab inside the vehicle.  That led to multiple search warrants, which uncovered more meth labs and other materials.

The three suspects include:

Adam Edwardson, 27, of Sault Ste. Marie.  He’s charged with three counts of manufacturing a meth lab, two counts of maintaining a drug house, one count of lab causing hazardous waste, and conspiracy to manufacture meth.

Britney Edwardson, 26, of Sault Ste. Marie.  She’s charged with two counts of manufacturing a meth lab, one count of lab causing hazardous waste, three counts of purchasing pseudoephedrine/components, and maintaining a drug house.

Alisa Lablanc, 22, of Brimley.  She’s charged with manufacturing a meth lab, conspiracy to manufacture meth, lab causing hazardous waste, and maintaining a drug house.

Police believe the three are responsible for several meth labs over the past few days.
