Marquette Police look into larceny from a motor vehicle complaints

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Police Department is investigating numerous complaints that someone is stealing items from area vehicles.

Officers say the complaints are spread out within the city limits and aren’t confined to one general location.  The larcenies have been occurring during the late evening hours into early morning.

Anyone with information about the thefts or who has seen suspicious activity in their neighborhoods is asked to call City Police at 228-0400.

Officers are also reminding residents to make sure their vehicles and homes are locked up before they’re left unattended.
