Investigation into November embezzlement case in Marquette leads to arrest

Marquette, MI - Marquette City Police have arrested an Ishpeming woman following investigation into embezzlement at a Marquette housing complex last November.

Officers say 32-year old Alison Jean Dehlin was arrested Friday and charged with forgery, uttering and publishing, and embezzlement-agent or trustee $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. The bond on each charge was set at 10% of $10,000. Dehlin was unable to post bond and is lodged at the Marquette County jail. An arraignment date has not yet been set.
