BREITUNG TOWNSHIP, MI-- Police discovered a marijuana growing operation during a burglary investigation in Breitung Township Monday morning.
Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were called by a commercial burglar alarm to a business around 12:55 a.m. They seized about three pounds of suspected processed marijuana, 78 suspected marijuana plants, and a quantity of suspected psilocybin mushrooms.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iron Mountain Police Department.
