Woman charged in crash that killed man at Tiger Stadium site

DETROIT, MI (AP)--   A woman is charged in connection with a crash that left an Upper Peninsula man dead on the old Tiger Stadium site in Detroit.

The Wayne County prosecutor's office says Thursday that 33-year-old Shayla Tucker faces arraignment Friday on a reckless driving causing death charge.

Authorities say a car speeding along Michigan Avenue early Saturday morning collided with another car which then struck 35-year-old Paul Pesola of Pelkie.

Pesola was knocked over an 8-foot fence and onto the grounds of the former ball park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
